Blue Continent’s portfolio of partner carriers lets us offer A Better Solution in providing the most competitive brokerage and service options on full truckload freight transportation between North American points.

Whether moving dry goods or protective-service/temperature-controlled loads containing perishable commodities (seasonal fruits, produce, nursery stock, fish/meat/poultry, prepared foods, beverage products, etc.…), the unique timing, handling, documentation, and service requirements each might present are well familiar to our group.

Our partner carriers maintain and are verified as having the following minimum insurance coverages in place and fully in force at all times:

• Commercial Auto Liability Insurance with a Minimum Limit of USD 1,000,000.

• Motor Truck Cargo Policy with Minimum Limit of USD 100,000

  • i. With Reefer Breakdown Coverage (where applicable).

• Worker’s Compensation Coverage with State Required Limits in effect.

• Commercial General Liability Coverage with Minimum Limit of USD 1,000,000.

Less Than Truckload (LTL) Freight Services - Dry Goods Only.

We also provide connections to a variety of scheduled over-the-road and rail LTL freight service options (with a focus on regional traffic moving to/from BC, Alberta and Washington state…) for the movement of smaller quantities of most dry goods – regulated or otherwise. Pricing and service programs to assist with this segment of your transportation program(s) can be prepared on request.

NOTE: We do not presently provide service for LTL shipments requiring refrigerated or frozen service. Please contact our offices directly with any queries related to any such moves and we will attempt to assist you on a case-by-case basis.
